Empire’s Hero’s driver assembly configuration features four parts made up of three balanced Armature Drivers built on Empire Ears’ proprietary design, and a single W9+ subwoofer driver. The marriage between both driver types enables impressive low-end capabilities while ensuring lush intimate highs from elements such as vocals.
Built-In synX & ARC Technology
Working hard behind each of Hero's specially chosen drivers are two of Empire Ears’ unique in-house technologies – the synX crossover network, and their ARC anti-resonance compound treatment.
synX splits audio signal into multiple bands with ease, designating each to its appropriate driver whilst ensuring that no bands share the same. This results in pristine clarity across the full frequency range and a truly spacious listening experience.
Meanwhile, offering unparalleled support under the hood is Empire Ears’ ARC - or Anti Resonance Compound - technology. ARC is a specially devised combination of polymer materials which adds relative mass to each component it touches, and absorbs unwanted vibrations to assist the Hero’s drivers in performance without cloudiness caused by resonance.
