Featuring a unique design, each Ascension cable comprises cryogenically treated silver-plated OHNO copper conductors which have been continuously cast. Each conductor is wrapped in a dielectric of air with a partial FEP teflon contact, and finally an additional FEP sleeve to complete the assembly.
Every assembly is wrapped in Mylar as well as one oxygen-free-copper shield. Drawing on established techniques, a slight rotational twist achieved with FEP tubes of air ensures defence against RFI and EMI rejection during use.
All terminations are made with 100% bespoke IsoTek audiophile connectors of solid oxygen free copper with silver-plated conductors.
The Ascension family takes advantage of 4.0sqmm silver-plated Ohno “continuous cast” copper conductors for vastly improved purity when compared with traditional oxygen-free copper. Advanced geometry, metallurgy and -196ºc cryogenics all contribute to Ascension’s superb conductivity.
Designed in house by IsoTek, proprietary Virtual Air Dielectric technology ensures a minimal conductor contact air barrier is created with the help of an FEP Teflon bridge. This achieves a remarkable constance level of just 1.0548 – as close to a vacuum as possible.
