Over the last few months some of the keen-eyed among you may have noticed certain changes occurring on the SCV Distribution site. Behind the scenes, our digital team has been hard at work developing a better experience for fans of our distributed lines, UK/EU dealers and product end-users alike.
So what’s new?
Professional & Consumer
Whilst SCV is well-known for its pro-audio, computer music and installed sound lines, over recent years we've been thrilled to expand our distribution remit into hi-fi and consumer audio products.
The breadth of product offerings on both sides is now such that we’ve now been able to split our site into and ‘Professional’ and ‘Consumer’ sections. So for our revered range of studio monitors, audio/midi interfaces, personal monitoring systems, installation microphones and studio outboard visitors can head to the Professional section; for high-end listening headphones, Hi-Fi power amps, DAPs and DACs, it’s ‘Consumer.’
Users can also switch between sections on the fly at any time using our top-right site ‘Switch’ tab.
Live support
At the bottom right of our site is a beautiful purple contact box, in place to field any enquiries that you might have during your journey through our site.
If one of our sales representatives is online you’ll get an immediate response, or if we’re otherwise engaged or the time is outside of UK business hours, we’ll log your enquiry and come back to you as quickly as possible.
Up-to-the-minute-industry-articles
Our News & Knowledge sections are regularly updated with a wealth of content designed both to inform and inspire. Whilst the News section features industry bulletins, trade show pieces and new product announcements, Knowledge compiles all of the hints, tricks and tantalising product secrets that we amass along the way.
Dealer product links
SCV’s portfolio of products are stocked at a wide range of trusted retailers across the UK. Our new site aims to give users direct access to a full list of stocking dealers on each and every product page.
If you don’t see your company name on a product page you feel you should be listed for, don’t worry - it’s highly like that you are already in the queue and waiting to be uploaded. But while we build our database, dealers are also welcome to tip us off with a suggestion via our contact page.
Automated returns & repairs
For technical support, or to request RA (returns authorisation) numbers, our site now features a detailed form where a support ticket can be logged. As soon as it hits our service department you’ll receive a reply from one of representatives with tailored assistance.
And there’s still more to come!
One of the things SCV is most proud of is our focus on product knowledge and feedback. In this spirit, we’re currently amassing a concise definitive database of product manuals, product specification sheets and product industry reviews, all of which will be added to our item pages over the coming weeks.
