As the smallest member of Triangle’s Borea family, each BR02 measures in at just 31cm high. The driver array includes a single 25mm tweeter and one 13cm low frequency range woofer, both featuring traits and innovations shared with the rest of the Borea range.
BR02 bookshelf pairs cater perfectly for rooms of up to twenty square metres and can also be used to great effect as single channels in surround or Dolby Atmos home theatre setups.
BR02 features Triangle’s unique 25mm Efficient Flow System (EFS) tweeter based on a neutral silk dome placed inside a partial horn loading design. Combined with a specially chosen high-frequency diffusion phase plug, the EFS tweeter is adept at homogenising top-end diffusion, reducing reflections and allowing clear reproduction of the subtlest high frequencies.
Borrowing knowhow from Triangle’s popular Esprit EZ range, the Borea midrange driver is composed of 100% natural cellulose with no surface treatment. Again with a focus on neutrality, Triangle’s 13cm transducer resists coloration of the sound and recreates acoustic elements from voice to instrument with striking realism.
