The A131 features a a precision machined aluminium body, housing a fixed-charge capsule in a sleek contemporary design. A gold sputtered diaphragm is used within the 33mm capsule to produce an impressively wide frequency response along with a natural sound.

The microphone’s cardioid pattern, combined with its double woven steel mesh grille and thin acoustic foam make it almost impervious to off-axis sound or incidental room noise and a perfect partner to podcasters as well as performing vocalists.
