Auteur DT features the same versatile preamp circuit as Black Lion’s Auteur Mk 3, delivering incredible nuance and detail while striking the perfect balance between modern punch and vintage-style analogue flavour.
The single channel preamp serves up 60dB of pure clean gain, suited for any condenser microphone along and also safe with ribbons for lower-volume source recording. To add a professional sheen to instruments including synths and guitars, users can take advantage of the Hi-Z / direct inject input stationed right on the Auteur DT’s front panel for plug and play mono-jack recording.
The Auteur DT combines an ultra-high-speed modern front-end with the vintage delicacy of a transformer-coupled output stage resulting in a big and versatile sound that sits agreeably in any mix.
