Multiband Dynamics shapes the timbres of any audio material by imposing no fewer than three separate bands of crossovers before summing the result through a master limiter. This allows users to independently control compression for each individual frequency range for perfectly sculpted results.
As with other v4 plugs, spectral analysis is built right into the Multiband Dynamics plugin interface powered by Metric Halo's SpectraFoo technology. Gain reduction meters are also on hand for live monitoring and can be scaled to the user's preference.
The fourth incarnation of Multiband Dynamics also welcomes VST3 as a compatible native format. This means that Metric Halo v4 plugs may now be used with current Steinberg family software including Cubase and Nuendo.
