Transient Control is a dynamic signal processor with modifying powers reaching beyond those of traditional compressors.
Individual gain controls are made available to dial in appropriate attack, sustain and decay values. By analysing and these three settings, Transient Control allows users to bring tracks straight to the forefront of a mix, or blend them into the background as desired.
Unwanted strum sounds from guitar tracks can be easily muted, while finger picking can be elevated and enhanced. Meanwhile drum sounds can be tightened to cut through an ensemble or softened to alter the groove feel.
Thanks to a very low CPU overhead, TransientControl may be implemented on any mix using any DAW with real-time zero latency. This also makes it a perfect tool for live music processing as well as in the studio.
