The Custom Series plugin bundle features a Custom Series EQ module and Custom Lift module for a wide range of filter and boosting options.
The Custom Series EQ is packed with modelling technology from over 12 classic analogue equalisers, painstakingly deconstructed by Slate Digital to determine the very best attributes that make them special. Users can apply a silky high-ends known from vintage tube EQs, to clear present discrete EQ mids and even big-bottom vintage mastering filters.
Each band includes its own specially modelled boost circuit with its own attenuation characteristics. When applied to any audio track or mix bus, the Custom Series EQ can transport material to a beautiful analogue era with just a few clicks.
The Custom Series Lift module features a straightforward two-knob interface controlling dual analogue modelled parallel filter networks. In practice, the tool can be used to easily “lift” high and low ends of the frequency range to achieve a transparent and multi-dimensional sound for any source. Custom analogue modelling is also present on the output stages for a rich, harmonic dynamics. Whilst the effect of the Custom Series Lift is extremely powerful, Slate Digital are careful to preserve the source’s natural sound, negating any over-processed side-effects.
