SPL's latest and greatest Phonitor model accommodates up to 3 simultaneous stereo inputs and delivers 5 watts of ultra-clean headphone power per-side.
Armed with SPL's proprietary Phonitor Matrix technology, users can utilise a unique crossfade function to accurately emulate the spatial 'angled' perception of stereo monitors. The end result is a mix that is perfectly transferrable between speakers and headphones without the necessity for a bulky listening setup during its creation.
Phonitor's headphone output also features a mono to stereo switch and a laterality knob to adjust for the natural imbalance of human ears.
Meanwhile Phonitor 3's monitor controller section boasts per-channel polarity reversal, soloing and a left to right channel swap switch. Comparative mixing between different mains and grot-boxes has never been made so easy, and each output also features a dedicated mute for instant signal cut-off.
For users wishing to accommodate external preamps or headphones with particularly high impedance, Phonitor 3's rear panel features 4 easy-access dip switches to adjust sensitivity accordingly.
In true SPL style, the Phonitor 3 is equipped with two beautiful mechanical meters to instantly track gain levels. Each meter can also be calibrated using its dedicated VU Cal switch.
