Phonitor X can accommodate up to five input sources including balanced and unbalanced options. Analogue inputs are comprised of XLR and RCA connectors, while digital inputs (available with SPL's optional DAC upgrade board) take the form of coaxial, optical and USB.
At its maximum output, the Phonitor X kicks out an amazing 3.7W, delivering stunning playback with tightened bass and relaxed, transparent mids and high ends.
Phonitor Matrix technology allows intelligent crossfading of channels to brilliantly emulate the experience of listening to monitors within the studio control room.
For the Phonitor X model SPL have included a streamlined control set including four switchable speaker angle settings, and adjustable crossfade to alter interaural level difference (essentially adjusting the influence of room size characteristics during playback) in six stepped settings.
